Plain Yogurt Compote with Nuts and Seeds Granola

Healthy whole food dessert on a full day work from home by yours truly. Homemade happiness...


Fruit Campote recipe:

  • 4 pcs ripe bananas

  • 1 whole washington apple

Chop the fruits, add 1/8c water and 2 tablespoons brown sugar. Boil for 10 minutes. Allow to cool and refrigerate.


Nuts and seeds granola:

  • 2 cups raw mixed nuts (almonds, cashew, walnuts, hazelnuts)

  • 1-1/2 cups mixed seeds (pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, flax seeds

  • 1 cup dried fruits (raisins or cranberries)

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 4 tablespoons honey

Place nuts, seeds, and dried fruits in a large mixing bowl. Mix melted butter, vanilla and honey in a small bowl then add the to nuts and seeds. Mix all ingredients to combine. Bake in a preheated oven (350F) for 10-12minutes.



You may store these two in the fridge and add to your chia pudding or plain yogurt just like what I did
